Welcome to the website for Paul Brough

Bruffy sends warm greetings to all from his home in Surrey where he is thankfully safe and well though - of course - in complete self-isolation.

He has just begun as the new Director of Music at Keble College, Oxford.

Keble - with its unique Butterfield buildings and large, high and resonant chapel - is the most attractive place to sing in the University, and enquiries about membership of its choir are always welcome.

He is already working towards a fresh musical programme for Keble and its choir and looking forward to bringing his experience and energy to this marvellous new challenge.

He continues to direct the music at St Mary's, Bourne Street in London's Belgravia, in succession and tribute to David Trendell (1964 - 2014). He also continues as a Professor at the Royal Academy of Music, where he has taught since 2004.

His guest-conducting includes many of the UK's leading ensembles, particularly the BBC Performing Groups and most notably the BBC Singers (Principal Guest Conductor 2011 - 2016) to whom he returns this coming October.
